The Joy of Allotments

 

Applying for an Allotment is potentially the start of a wonderful hobby or pastime.  It takes time, hard work and commitment to get the best from your plot, but if you are prepared to put in the effort you will be well rewarded.  Not only can you grow your own vegetables and flowers, the time spent outside is wonderfully beneficial for both our mental and physical health.

The Percy Estate Allotment Society was formed in 2020 when Warwick Town Council handed over the running of the allotment site to a committee of volunteer plot holders. If you would like to apply for a plot, please contact our Lettings Administrator Steve Poynter at stevep205@btinternet.com  or on 07776 263303.  You will be contacted to confirm that a plot is available or that you have been placed on our waiting list.  

Please note that priority will be given to applicants living in the CV34 postcode area.

Once a plot is available, Steve will contact you and make an appointment for you to visit the site and view the available plot(s).  If you accept the plot, you will be asked to complete a Members Registration Form and to pay the following:

 

Annual rental fee of £30 for a half plot.

A deposit of £50, returnable if you release your plot in

an acceptable condition.
